Türkiye is determined to destroy the camps of terrorists in the north of Iraq. This was stated on Friday by the Minister of National Defense of Turkey Hulushi Akar.
According to him, the Turkish Armed Forces continue the systematic and successful struggle against terrorism both within the country and beyond.
“We will destroy the camps of terrorists in the north of Iraq. We are full of determination in this matter. It does not matter who is behind them (terrorists) and what they are equipped with, whether it is helicopters, planes, weapons or money. Nothing will stop us until then until we ensure the security of 85 million Turkish citizens, we will not save our people from the adversity that pursues the country for 40 years, ”Akar assured.
The minister drew attention to the fact that the Turkish military destroyed the terrorist corridor, which was planned to create in the north of Syria near the southern borders of Turkey.
“We have no problems with someone’s religious or ethnic affiliation, or with faiths. Our only goal is terrorists. We are not acceptable of flirting with terrorists and those who cooperate with them,” the minister said.
