Akif Chovdarov returned confiscated property

The Baku Court of Appeal decided to return the property confiscated in connection with the criminal case of the former chief of the Main Department of Security in the energy and transport spheres of the now abolished Ministry of National Security, Major General Akif Chovdarov. This is reported by Apa.

The Judicial College, chaired by Judge Gabil Mammadov, decided that the property confiscated by the verdict of the Baku Military Court should be returned to its owners.

The Agency notes that the confiscated property, the market value of which is estimated at about 30 million manat, belongs to the family members of Akif Chovdarov.
