In the West of the Syrian province of Aleppo, in the area controlled by the 64th division, about 500 military personnel were taken to the hospital with signs of food poisoning.
The incident occurred last night at a military base in the Darethza region. Many military personnel have complaints about nausea, vomiting and general malaise.
Ambulance teams were sent to the place. The victims were taken to the Al-Kanana hospital in Darethzz.
According to the information received from the officials of the Ministry of Health of Syria, the department is in contact with the Aleppo Health Department regarding the cases of food poisoning in the provinces. “Medical brigades provide the necessary assistance,” the statement said.
The authorities said that an investigation has begun to establish a poisoning source.
