October 14, under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov, a working meeting on the situation in the transport sector in Baku was held in the Cabinet of Ministers, the Cabinet of Ministers said.
During the meeting, the state of execution of instructions on regulating public transport activities, which were given at an expanded meeting on October 3 of this year, was discussed. A preliminary draft of the plan of measures on problems in the field of road transport in Baku was analyzed, the solution of which is considered possible in a short time.
The action plan includes an increase in the throughput of roads, increase the potential of transportation by public transport, traffic regulation and other issues.
The meeting also discussed issues related to the continuation of structural reforms in the field of public transport, administrative, infrastructure and organizational measures, and instructions were also given, which should be carried out in a specific time.
