Azerbaijan Prime Minister Ali Assadov met with a visit to Baku by the Governor of the Georgian region Kvemo Kartli George Dokhturishvili, the Cabinet of Council of Cabinet of Azerbaijan said.
According to the report, the parties expressed satisfaction with the development of Azerbaijani-Georgian relations in various fields. It was noted that cooperation between the cities of the two countries plays an important role in expanding bilateral ties. From this point of view, the importance of cooperation memorandums, which will be signed between the cities of Azerbaijan and Georgia, was emphasized as part of the visit of the Georgian delegation.
The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation of Azerbaijan and Georgia in trade, economic, transport, investment, energy and other areas.
