In Baku, a meeting of the head of the State Security Service of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Ali Nagiyev, with the General Secretary of the National Security Council of Turkey Seifullah Hadmyuftyuoglu, who is on an official visit in Azerbaijan.
According to the SGB website, Ali Nagiyev, greeting the guest, noted that thanks to the joint efforts of the heads of states, the relations between the two fraternal and partner countries are at the highest level, emphasized the further expansion of security cooperation in accordance with the Shushinsky declaration signed 15 June last year.
Particularly emphasizing the support of Turkey of regional stability, preserving peace and tranquility in the region, Ali Nagiyev expressed confidence in an even greater strengthening of bilateral connections for further reliable security in the region.
Having grateful for hospitality and warm welcome, Secretary General of the National Security Council of Turkey noted satisfaction with the level of interstate cooperation on security issues, emphasized the importance of the constant development of these relations.
