Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kasim-Zhomart Tokayev. This is reported by AzerTaj.
in the letter says:

Take sincere congratulations on the occasion of your election by the Chairman of the NUR Otan party.
Today, relations between our friendly countries are successfully developing, joint projects are actively implemented. We are still tuned to deepen cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan in all areas representing mutual interest.
I would like to note with satisfaction the positive dynamics of cooperation and the active dialogue between the ruling parties of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan – the party “Yeni Azerbaijan” and the Party “Nur Otan”. Interparty ties are a significant component of bilateral relations between our countries.
I am confident that the close interaction between the parties headed by us will continue to develop and delve into the interests of our peoples, in the name of the prosperity of our countries.
