President Ilham Aliyev signed an order to provide financial support to religious structures in Azerbaijan.
The document is published on the official website of the head of state.
According to the order, 1 million manat, Baku and Azerbaijani Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church – 350 thousand manata, Baku Religious community of Mountain Jews, is allocated from the Presidential Reserve for the State budget for 2023, the Muslims of the Caucasus. The Baku religious community of European Jews – 350 thousand manat, the Apostolic Prefecture of the Catholic Church in Azerbaijan – 350 thousand manat, the Albano -Udin Christian community – 350 thousand manat.
In order to support other non -Sislam religious communities, the Fund for Propaganda of Spiritual Values under the State Committee of Azerbaijan for working with religious formations is allocated 350 thousand manat.
The Ministry of Finance is entrusted with ensuring financing in the amount indicated at the disposal.
