Aliyev pointed out Macron to need for an impartial and balanced approach

French President Emmanuel Macron today called the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the official website of the head of state reports.

During the conversation, Macron said that he would meet with the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan as part of the 18th Summit of the Organization of Francophony, which will be held on November 19, and once again expressed the intention of France to contribute to the process of normalizing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

During the telephone conversation, the heads of state exchanged views based on the results of the Prague meeting, held in a four -sided format with the participation of Azerbaijan, Armenia, the European Union and France, and the issues arising from it.

President Ilham Aliyev noted the importance of demonstrating a neutral, impartial and balanced approach in the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The head of state indicated that the statements made by Armenia in recent days contradict the normalization of relations between the two countries and the peaceful agenda.
