Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev thanked the Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan for the words of support during the performance at the UN General Assembly in New York.
This is stated in the publication on Aliyev’s page on social networks.
“Dear brother, I thank you for supporting the position of Azerbaijan during a speech at the UN General Assembly in New York. Bratskoy Turkey, as always, stands next to Azerbaijan and supports us in our right -wing struggle,” the publication says.
Aliyev emphasized that Azerbaijan and Turkey near each other are both good and sorrowfully.
“Baku and Ankara have always supported each other’s right positions on international sites. The Shushinskaya declaration, in turn, raised our relations to the level of strategic partnership,” the publication says.
