All ballots from abroad were delivered to Turkey

On the eve of the main voting day in the second round of voting in the election of the President of Turkey, ballots were delivered to the country from all foreign sites.

The voting process in 73 countries lasted until May 24, the ballots in sealed bags were taken to Ankara in strict safety conditions.

The latter bags of ballots were delivered to Istanbul flights of “Turkish airlines” from Ottava and Montreal. The bags were accompanied by diplomatic couriers and representatives of political parties.

Sealing bags were unloaded at the Megapolis airport into special cars and delivered to the Turkish district commission on voting abroad, from where they were sent to Ankara.

The voting process at Turkish border posts will last until 17:00, May 28.

The process of counting the ballots will begin on Sunday, May 28 after the closing of polling stations in Turkey itself.
