In Baku, traditionally widely and fun noted the most beloved holiday in Azerbaijan – Novruz. Festive festivities and concerts were organized in all areas of the capital. And this time, even despite cold and cloudy weather, they were truly massive. Forced in recent years to observe a strict quarantine regime, the Baku residents missed crowded, cheerful celebrations. And Novruz – the day of the arrival of spring – became an excellent reason for this. Festive events were patriotic, and in all welcomers speeches emphasized the role of the Supreme Commander and Azerbaijani Army in achieving Victory.
A grand concert with the participation of popular performers and sparkling Fireworks Novruz noted in the Narimanovsky district of the capital. Representatives of local executive authorities who spent before the gathered on the square were particularly noted that, thanks to the Supreme Commander, President Ilham Aliyev and our heroic army for the second year, the Azerbaijani people celebrate Novruz with a proud feeling of the winning people.
In Nizami district, the main celebrations turned in Geydar Aliyev Park. The culmination was a concert with the participation of famous performers and creative teams, as well as a colorful firework.
Here on this day, I also remembered with gratitude that the tradition of holding Novruz on the state and popular level is associated with the name of the national leader of Heydar Aliyev. As you know, in Soviet times, national holidays, including Novruz, were banned. And now, thanks to the efforts of the first vice-president, Mehriban Alieva Novruz Bayrama is included in the list of intangible cultural heritage of UNESCO.
Festive festivities in the Yasamal district took place in the park of Husein Javid. A concert was organized for residents of the district, as well as various programs with the participation of dance collectives and traditional characters of the Novruz.
From the heart, whole families and labor collectives noted the favorite holiday and in Nasimine district Baku.
In the Garadagsky district, the concert program was organized in the village Lokbatan. The events were attended by representatives of the executive authority of the district, parliamentary deputies, family members of Shekhid and Veterans of War, the public.
Festive events and folk festivities were held in the Suuryhansky, Khazar and Binagadine areas. And everywhere, the traditional national holiday was a patriotic tint, in greeting speeches and greetings of the leaders of the districts, our historical victory in the Patriotic War and the special merits of the Supreme Commander and Azerbaijani soldiers in the release of occupied land were required.
This is due to them the traditional fires from now on in Shushe, Agdam, Kelbajara, other liberated cities and villages of Azerbaijan, and in their winning light disinves the darkness of the occupation.
