The Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan met with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and North Ireland Fergus Old.
The press service of the ministry said that the Minister of Health Teimur Musaev congratulated Fergus Old on the appointment of an ambassador of Great Britain in Azerbaijan. The minister emphasized that Azerbaijani-British relations tend to develop dynamic development. According to him, there are multifaceted rational relations between the countries covering many spheres.
In his speech, Teimur Musaev noted that the healthcare sphere in the UK is at a very high level, and the British Health Service (NHS) is one of the most effective in the world: “British medicine is distinguished by the introduction of innovative drugs into the clinical practice of innovative drugs and highly professional training of medical personnel. In addition, medical universities are famous for the quality of education and the release of high -class specialists. So, three British medical schools are included in the top ten ratings of the best bearings of the world. “
Having emphasized the important role of the average and younger medical personnel for the sustainable development of the healthcare system, Teimur Musaev expressed an interest in strengthening cooperation between the Ministry of Health of the two countries. He expressed hope for the further successful development of cooperation in the field of healthcare, medical science and in other areas.
In turn, Fergus Old emphasized that Great Britain pays special attention to relations with Azerbaijan. It was noted that to increase the efficiency of the health system of the two countries, there are all the necessary tools for interaction in the field of medical education. Fergus Old also emphasized the need to further expand cooperation between Azerbaijan and Great Britain in the post -shoe period.
