The Russian Ambassador to Chisinau Oleg Vasnetsov was called to the Moldovan Foreign Ministry in connection with the statements of the Acting Governor of the Kherson Region of Ukraine Vladimir Saldo about the bridge in the Moldavian village of Jurudzhulesta. This was announced by the adviser to the press service of the Moldavian Foreign Ministry Igor Zakharov.
“Moldova decisively condemns the recent statements of the representative of the Russian Federation … about the strike on the bridge in Jurdjulesta. Such statements are completely unacceptable. We will not tolerate such a wording directed against Moldova. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration urgently causes the head of the diplomatic mission Russian Federation in Moldova to explain, ”RIA Novosti quoted Zakharova.
Earlier, Saldo visited the bridges damaged as a result of shelling between the Kherson region and the Crimea. In the video, he promised a response and mentioned the bridge in the village of Jurdjulesta.
Dzhurdzhulesta – a village in the Kagulsky district of Moldova on the border with Romania and Ukraine. This settlement was transferred to Ukraine Moldova as part of the settlement of the territorial dispute. In the village there is a port of Jurdjulesta.
