Ukraine uses all the US -allocated funds for its intended purpose and knows where and how the weapons provided by Washington are used, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Washington Oksana Markarova said in an interview with CBS.
According to her, Ukraine receives the help of three types from the United States: budget, humanitarian and military.
“As for assistance in the field of security, we get not money, but the goods. And we are very grateful for them. And we are responsible for each remedy that we receive. We introduce NATO systems in the field and are ready to provide, We already provide information. And we know where everything is, ”said the Ambassador of Ukraine.
Markarova noted that Kyiv has already reported on all the US budget assistance provided by the United States, an audit is now being conducted. According to her, the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance prepared a report that the members of the US Congress got acquainted. According to the diplomat, Washington “extremely clear what Kyiv spends money on.”
“To prove why we need more help and that we use it extremely efficient and rationally, we would like to be as open as possible. Each dollar of the United States that is provided to us, we use with benefit and invest in our joint struggle for democracy” , – said the diplomat.
