American experts: Iran could send first drones to Russia

Iran could send the first batch of combat unmanned aerial vehicles to Russia along with Iranian pilots and techniques that will study the Su-35 aircraft, say at the American Analytical Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

.

ISW emphasized that this information is based on American intelligence data on open sources.

“If this information is true, it follows that Iran can receive Russian Su-35 aircraft in exchange for drones, which could be part of an agreement signed by Moscow and Tehran July 26,” ISW analysts suggested.

The institute also believes that the agreement on increasing passenger flights from Iran to Russia can be used by Tehran to purchase Russian combat aircraft.
