The American specialist today remotely answered questions during the hearing in the Tbilisi City Court, where the defense is seeking a delay in the punishment and release of Saakashvili for health reasons.
According to Kobb, with regard to its specialization, Saakashvili has arthritis and dislocation of the left shoulder joint, arthritis of the left hip joint, the intervertebral disc in the neck, radiculopathy and spinal stenosis are damaged. The most acute, said Cobb, there are problems in the neck and shoulder joint.
The doctor noted that at the time of the examination, Saakashvili experienced severe pain, could not turn his head, move his left shoulder and it was difficult for him to stand. James Cobb admitted that the developing arthritis of the hip and shoulder joints may be the result of toxic exposure, noting that damage to the joints can cause mercury.
