In 2021-2022, Azerbaijan directed more than $ 4 billion to restore the liberated territories. The Minister of Finance of Azerbaijan Samir Sharifov announced this at the 7th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Saudi intergovernmental commission.
According to him, the Saudi Development Fund may take part in projects to restore territories liberated from the occupation.
“In addition, companies of Saudi Arabia can also show interest in such projects,” said S. Mhanifov.
The head of the Ministry of Finance also emphasized that Azerbaijan is interested in the development of trade and economic cooperation with Saudi Arabia.
