An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9 occurred in the Sîndırği region in the Turkish province of Balıkesir.
According to information published on the website of the Office for the Prevention and Elimination of Consequences of Emergency Situations (AFAD), the tremors were recorded at 15:35, the epicenter of the earthquake was in the Sındırgı region.
