Turkey’s Emergency and Disaster Authority (AFAD) reports that on November 12 at noon, an earthquake of magnitude 5.4 occurred in the Mediterranean Sea, near the city of Baf in the Greek administration of Cyprus.

The earthquake was also felt in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
After the second earthquake in the city of Baf, residents did not risk returning to their homes, and education was suspended in some schools.
In the TRNC capital, Lefkosa, students from some schools were evacuated and taken to their families.
The TRNC Civil Defense Department said that there were no injuries in the country as a result of the earthquake negative consequences.
In the same area today at noon after an earthquake of magnitude 5.2, 12 aftershocks were recorded.
