Anadolu Agency (AA) will act as vice president of the Asia-Pacific Association of Information Agencies (OANA).
Chairman of the Board and General Director of Anadola’s Agency Serdar Karages and Director for Strategic Communications and Management of Brand Khazal Duran, took part in the 19th General Assembly of OANA, which was held in the Expoforum as part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (PMEF) organized by the Russian news agency TASS.
At the General Assembly, the chairmanship of OANA to 2025-2028 passed from the official Iranian Iranian information agency to TASS. The President of OANA was elected by the general director of TASS Andrei Kondrashov, General Secretary General Deputy General Director of TASS Mikhail Gusman.
