Chairman of the State Agency of Medical Social Expertise and Rehabilitation under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the population Anar Bayramov held a press conference on the issue of evaluating disability and the work done on the provision of medical and social rehabilitation services to people with disabilities, said HaqQin.Az -Bejberry of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
According to Bayramov, the process of determining disability is carried out completely transparently through electronic infrastructure, without contacting a citizen expert. He noted, this year, about 35,000 persons were appointed disabilities. Of these cases, 11,000 had to be initial, the rest – the reappointment of disability.
The head of the structure reported that in the first eight months of this year the agency provided 7,000 people with disabilities of 30 thousand rehabilitation funds, including 766 motor wheelchairs, noting that some of them were delivered to addresses. In January-August, rehabilitation services were provided by 4,600 people with disabilities, including disabled wars.
A. Baires noted the work done in conjunction with profile structures in the field of evaluation by visual inspection of the disability of military personnel injured in the Patriotic War. He noted that more than 1,750 of these servicemen have already appointed disabilities.
It was noted that the rehabilitation system created in the country in recent years under the leadership of the President in accordance with modern requirements, plays an important role in providing our veterans of rehabilitation services at a high level. In the post-war period in the rehabilitation centers, the service agency was provided with 1,500 veterans. From December 2020, work is underway to ensure our citizens who have become disabled as a result of injuries in battles for the territorial integrity of our country, high-tech electronic prostheses. 141 The soldier is already provided with the latest generation with prostheses. The specialists of the Russian office of the Icelandic company Össur conducted the appropriate measurements in 29 veterans with amputated upper limbs, and in the coming days the process will begin the process of providing them with high-tech prostheses.
Bayramov reported that all rehabilitation objects of the agency were commissioned after major repairs and reconstruction. This year, children’s rehabilitation centers will open in Gabala and Shamkirsk region.
