The leader of the Movement of Dissatisfied Citizens (ANO), former Prime Minister Andrej Babis, who won the general elections in the Czech Republic, announced an agreement on a coalition government with the far-right Freedom and Direct Democracy Party (SPD) and the right-wing Motorcyclists party.
As reported by Radio Prague International, Babis made this announcement after meetings with the leaders of the SPD and the Motorcyclists.
Populist leader Babis announced that the new cabinet will consist of 16 members, and the ANO will manage 9 ministries, including the Prime Minister.
He said that the SPD, which will be responsible for 3 ministries, including the Ministry of Defense, will also will nominate a candidate for the post of chairman of the House of Representatives.
According to him, the Motorcycle Party will occupy 4 ministries, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and added that the creation of new ministries is on the agenda.
The new cabinet, the members of which have not yet been named, should take office on November 3 after taking the oath in the House representatives.

In the national elections held on October 3-4 in the Czech Republic, which determined 200 members of the lower house of parliament, the Chamber of Deputies, the movement “Dissatisfied Citizens” (ANO) led by former Prime Minister Babis won.
ANO received 34.51% of the votes, and the ruling Civic Democratic Party (ODS), TOP 09 and the alliance “Together” (Spolu), formed by the Christian Democratic Union (KDU-CSL), received 23.36% of the votes.
The Party of Mayors and Independents (STAN) received 11.23%, the Czech Pirate Party – 8.97%, far-right SPD – 7.78%, and the right-wing Motorcyclists party – 6.77%.
After neither party was able to obtain the 101 seats needed to form a government, Babis began negotiations with the SPD and the Motorcyclists party to create a coalition government.
