Ankara and Baghdad discussed tension in region in recent days

The Foreign Minister of Turkey Hakan Fidan discussed in a telephone conversation with a colleague from Iraq Foid Hussein, tension in the region arose in recent days, reports diplomatic sources in Ankara.

Fidan noted that Turkey does not want any problems between the friendly and fraternal countries of the region.

The parties should act calmly and avoid steps that can even more jeopardize the stability of the region, said the Foreign Minister of Turkey.
