Ankara And Dushanbe Approved Plan For Cooperation In Field Of Labor For 2026-2027

The Republic of Tajikistan and the Turkish Republic agreed on a joint plan for the action in the field of labor and employment of the population in 2026-2027. This was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment of the population of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The document was signed on September 22 in Dushanbe following negotiations between the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Turkey by Vedasy Ishikkhan and Minister of Labor, Migration and Employment of Tajikistan Solekhomoy Holmakhmadzoda. The Turkish delegation included the first meeting of the joint working committee created under a bilateral agreement in force since 2002. The parties overview of the current state of cooperation and outlined specific areas of interaction for the next two years.

The approved plan includes measures to improve the efficiency of labor supervision, ensure the protection of health and safety at workplaces, digitalize public services in the field of employment, as well as the development of professional skills and training programs. Z

In addition, it is also planned to conduct comparative research and the implementation of modern methods of regulating the labor sphere.

Parties paid special attention to professional training. As part of the visit, the Turkish delegation visited the Center for the development of crafts and modern professional skills, expressing the willingness to expand cooperation in this area.

According to representatives of the parties, the implementation of the plan for 2026-2027 will be a practical continuation of efforts aimed at improving the quality of labor standards, stimulating employment and developing human capital.
