Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held on Friday a telephone conversation with Iranian colleague Khosein Amir Abdollahiyan.
According to information received from diplomatic sources, the telephone conversation took place on the initiative of the Iranian side.
During the conversation, recent events in the region were discussed.
