Ankara condemned desecration of Qur’an and Turkish flag in Denmark 15 April

Turkish Foreign Ministry made a statement in which he strongly condemned the next provocation against the Holy Book of the Muslims of the Koran and the Turkish flag in Denmark.

The department indicated the inadmissibility of creating conditions for such “vile attacks” under the cover of freedom of speech.

According to the report, the Ambassador of Denmark to Ankara Danny Annan was called to the Turkish Foreign Ministry, where Turkey was brought to his attention in connection with what happened.

The diplomatic mission emphasized that Turkey will continue the efforts on both multilateral platforms and at a bilateral level against this kind of “vile attacks and crimes on the basis of hatred”.

It is noted that such incidents are manifestations of the concern of the growth of Islamophobia and xenophobia in Europe.

Turkey Foreign Ministry said that the indifferent position of the Denmark authorities on this issue ignores the feelings of billions of people around the world and causes a negative reaction from the Muslim community.

Earlier, an act of desecration of the Koran and the Turkish flag was committed to the Turkish Embassy in Copenhagen.

The provocation was organized by a member of the Danish marginal group Payrioterne Gar Live, known for its Islamofobic and ultra -rationalist views. The action was broadcast live on the Danske Patrioter page on Facebook.

The extremist launched a poster with an anti -Islamic inscription, chanted the slogans that insult Islam, and desecrated the Turkish flag.
