Ankara explained results of four -sided meeting in Syria in Moscow

The Ministry of National Defense of Turkey commented on the results of a four -sided meeting on Syria held on Tuesday, April 25 in Moscow with the participation of the heads of defense departments and special services of Russia, Iran, Turkey and the regime of Bashar Assad.

“The situation in Syria, specific steps to normalize the relations of Ankara and Damascus, the activation of efforts to return the Syrian refugees, the fight against any forms of separatism and terrorism in Syrian territory,” the statement,

According to the department, the meeting was held in a constructive atmosphere.

The parties confirmed the commitment to the territorial integrity of Syria.

Following the results of negotiations, the importance of continuing the dialogue in a four -sided format “in order to ensure and maintain stability in Syria and the region as a whole”.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that during a meeting in Syria in Moscow, topical issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed, as well as various aspects of ensuring global and regional security.
