Ankara: RKK threatens public order in Europe

Recent attacks of supporters of the terrorist organization of the RSC on ethnic Turks in Belgium once again prove that this group poses a threat to the “social world and social order” in Western Europe. This is stated in the statement of the Turkish Foreign Ministry.

The department noted that on March 24, accomplices of the terrorist organization gathered in the city of Leven, and then arranged attacks on the inhabitants of Turkish origin of the cities of Hoisden-Zolder and Hautalen. The Foreign Ministry said that there were no victims as a result of provocations, but some members of the Turkish community were injured.

“In connection with the events that occurred, contacts with the Belgian authorities in Brussels were immediately established,” the statement said.

According to the report, the Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a telephone conversation with the Belgian colleague Hajoy Lahbib that evening to discuss the situation. Diplomatic representatives of Turkey in Belgium met with members of the Turkish diaspora in the cities where incidents occurred, added to the Foreign Ministry.

“Thanks to the common sense of our compatriots living in Belgium and the effective intervention of the Belgian security agencies, it was possible to prevent the escalation of incidents,” the message was noted.

Turkish Foreign Ministry added that local authorities are investigating the offenders.
