Ankara: Turkish-China Media Forum Will Be Held

Head of the Communications Department of the Administration of the President of Turkey, Professor Fakhretin Altun and the Ambassador of the Chinese People’s Republic to Ankara, Jiang Suybin, will perform at the opening of the forum, which will be held on July 2 in Ankara in order to deepen strategic partnership between the two countries by strengthening cooperation in the field of media and communication and interaction between peoples.

This is stated in the statement of the Communications Department of the Administration of the President of Turkey.

on the forum, which will be held with the participation of leading experts in the field of media, scientists and representatives of public institutions from Turkey and China, the possibilities of cooperation between the two countries in the field of communication and the media will be discussed.

The forum will organize a panel consisting of two main sessions. At the first session entitled “Strategic Partnership in the New Global Communication Architecture: Türkiye-China”, the possibilities of cooperation between the two countries in the field of communication as part of the transformation of the global communication order will be considered.

In the framework of the second session “Artificial Intelligence and Innovative Technologies in Strategic Communication”, the consequences of the rapid transformation of communication technologies for strategic communication practices, the role of artificial intelligence, large data and digital infrastructures for public diplomacy, media production and information management.

will be discussed.

The forum will determine specific areas of cooperation in the areas of media discord, public communication, cultural interaction and digitalization.

A series of media forums organized by the Communications Office of the Administration of the President of Turkey in different countries and on various topics, is aimed at improving Turkey’s effectiveness in the field of communication at the global level and strengthening relations with international media organizations on an institutional basis.
