Agency of Agrarian Services completed the tender for the purchase of vaccines from large and small cattle diseases, the total value of which can be 5.1 million manat ($ 3 million). This is reported by “Turan” with reference to the website of state procurement.
On December 6 and December 7, vaccine suppliers were selected by MAYBO LLC and AGRICO LLC. On corporate Internet pages of both companies there is no information about their distribution and other bonds with vaccine manufacturers against animal diseases.
According to the State Customs Committee, 42.43 tons of animal vaccination in more than 10 countries were purchased for nine months of this year. The total declared cost of veterinary vaccines amounted to $ 5,438 thousand. The main suppliers of vaccines are Turkey (2.77 tons, $ 899 thousand), France (2.91 tons, $ 886.9 thousand), the Netherlands (1.45 tons, $ 627.7 thousand), Israel (3.22 tons, $ 61.7 thousand), Italy (8.71 tons, $ 597.6 thousand) and other countries.
Vaccination against epizootic diseases of large and small cattle in Azerbaijan is free and funded from the state budget.
