Another international success of AQTİ national reference laboratory

The National Reference Laboratory of the Azerbaijani Institute of Food Safety (AQTİ) continues to approve itself at the international level. Thus, the laboratory took part in checking the qualification organized by the British company FAPAS – according to the parameter of determining the residual number of polar pesticides in grain products, and achieved a successful result.

Tests were carried out according to the international method on the device with high sensitivity.

Note that the laboratories operating at the institute are regularly involved in professional tests. The necessary measures are taken to pass accreditation and adaptation to international standards, strengthen and modernize the material and technical database of laboratories.

At the national level, the reference laboratory is accredited by the Azerbaijani Accreditation Center in accordance with the AZS ISO/IEC 17025: 2020 standard “General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories”, and at the international level received accreditation of the German Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH (DAKKS).

The national reference laboratory conducts microbiological, chemical toxicological, radiological, parasitological, physicochemical studies, studies on the determination of the origin and availability of GMOs in food and agricultural products.
