The Yerevan Court made a decision on the arrest of the former Prosecutor General of Armenia, the former head of the Investigative Committee of Armenia Agvan Ovsepyan. This is reported by the Armenian edition of “Pastinfo” with reference to the lawyer Sasun Rafaelan.
Agvant Ovsepyan from 2004 to 2018 held the positions of the Prosecutor General and Head of the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
The ex-general prosecutor is accused of corruption, in particular legalization of 1.3 billion drams and property assignment.
