On January 9, 2021, Muradov was charged under articles 179.4 (assignment or waste with causing significant damage), 308.2 (abuse of official powers), and 313 (official forge) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. In relation to him, the decision of the district court elected a preventive measure in the form of arrest.
