According to the criminal case in connection with the facts of the commission of unlawful acts by the former Chief of Military Counterintelligence Emergencies Ministry Nizami Shirinov, the former head of the Main Investigation Department Movlama Shikhaliyev it was found that the former head of the department Vusal Alakbarov, the former deputy chief of the pre-control investigation Yasin Mammadov, former deputy head of the department Sahib Alekperov in an organized manner commit extortion, property appropriated under investigation and received bribes in a large scale.
The criminal group Movlama Shikhaliyev accused of taking bribes in the amount of 14.292 million manat and embezzlement in the amount of 577,000 manat, as well as abuse of power and falsification of evidence.
The court Movlana Shikhaliyev was taken into custody under the Criminal Code 182.3.1, 182.3.2 (extortion by organized group with the aim of acquiring property on a large scale), 294.3 (falsification of evidence), 311.3.1 (bribery on a group of persons or organized group). And in the period of investigation with respect to other members of the criminal grouping: Vusal Alakbarov, Yasin Mammadov and Sahib Alekperov were elected other preventive measures

The indictment in a criminal case is approved and forwarded for consideration to the Baku Military Court.
