In the Croatian Porech, the youthful European Judo Championship ended.
Today team competitions have been held. The Azerbaijani team won bronze medals. This is the first case at the youth championships of Europe, when the Azerbaijani team managed to rise to the podium. In the match for bronze, our team defeated Poland – 4: 2.
Recall that in personal competitions the national team of Azerbaijan won 8 medals – 3 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze. For the first time since 2004, our youths have taken 1st place in the team event.
Golden awards in the asset of Shakhin Offersda (55 kg), Imranov (60 kg) and Fidan Alizade (57 kg). The only silver of Aidan Velieva (48 kg), and bronze on the account of Magomed Mamishova (50 kg), Abil Yusubova (66 kg), Nijata Nagieva (66 kg) and Ali Hajizade (73 kg).
