The Forum was attended by Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Qatar, Algeria, as well as the Secretary General of the League of Arab States.

At the opening of the meeting, Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi said that his Amman makes every effort to normalize the situation in Jerusalem and around the Al-Aqsa Mosque complex and noted that “the lack of political prospects creates a situation with very large risks.”

At the end of the discussion, the forum participants said that visiting the Temple Mountains should be coordinated and carried out only with the permission of the VACF. The Ministers of the Arab countries insist on the closure of the Morbi bridge (a wooden pedestrian bridge, along which Nemusulman can get to the temple mountain). In addition, they demanded from Israel to retreat to the borders of 1967 and declared the need to create a Palestinian state.
