Azerbaijani military stopped the next provocation of illegal Armenian armed groups. This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.
According to the report, illegal Armenian armed groups in Azerbaijan, where the Russian peacekeeping contingent was temporarily located, made an attempt to dig new trenches before the positions of the Azerbaijani army in the Fizulis.
The incident took place on September 10 at about 09:45 local time.
“As a result of the measures taken by the units of the Azerbaijani army, the work was stopped,” the department said.
