The Armed Forces of Pakistan shot down two fighters in response to India missile strikes, sources in Pakistan Security authorities reported.
Speaking on Pakistani State Television PTV News, informed sources said that in response to the missile attacks of India, two fighters were shot down.
“All aircraft belonging to the Air Force of Pakistan are safe. The armed forces of Pakistan give a proper response to enemy aggression.”
According to sources in the security authorities, the Pakistani army, as part of a response attack, struck the headquarters of the Indian unit. Details about the location of the headquarters are not reported.
As a result of a missile strike, an Indian checkpoint was also destroyed in the Dudkhnial area, located near the control line (LOC) between Pakistan and India.
According to the Pakistani TV channel Samaa TV, Pakistan closed its airspace for 48 hours and suspended all internal and international flights.
