Armenia announced significance of a peace treaty with Baku

A peace treaty between Yerevan and Baku, taking into account the possible consequences for the West and East, acquires a greater geopolitical significance than even the Ukrainian issue, political scientist Stepan Danielyan told the Armenian media.

According to Danielyan, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan hopes to win the time, having transferred the settlement of relations with Azerbaijan in the confrontation field between the West and Russia.

“The West acts quite competently, uses soft power well, works with public structures, the media, invests money, creating a certain public opinion. At the same time, it is not entirely clear what Russia is doing against this background,” the Armenian political scientist emphasized.
