Armenia appointed special representatives in negotiations with Turkey

Special Representative from Armenia in negotiations on the normalization of relations with Turkey will be the vice-speaker of the country’s parliament Ruben Rubinians. This was stated by the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Vaan Unanyan, reports “satellite”.

Rubinian is a member of the founder of the Party “Civil Agreement”. In June 2021, he was elected a deputy of Parliament on the national partition electoral list. In August 2021 he was elected deputy chairman of the National Assembly of Armenia.

Recall, on December 13, the head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry Mevlyut Chavushoglu said that Ankara and Yerevan will prescribe special representatives to negotiate relations on a mutual basis. Later, Turkey officially introduced his special Salanced: they became the former ambassador to the country in Japan and the US Serdar Kylych.
