The Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of Armenia, Gniel Sanosyan, discussed the situation with the Russian Federation to the Republic of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Sergei Kopyrkin on the Verkhny Lars checkpoint on the Russian-Georgian border, the Armenian media reports.
In recent weeks, due to the strengthening of checks of heavy trucks on the checkpoint, multi-kilometer queues from trucks following the territory of Georgia have arisen from Armenia to Russia.
It is noted that Sanosyan asked Kopyrkin to assist in solving the problem. According to the minister, soon, due to climatic changes, the situation may become even more complicated.
