The Minister of High-tech Industry Armenia Akop Arshakian resigned. Artshakyan reported this on his Facebook page.
“As a citizen of Armenia, I consider the use of the official from an official in relation to another citizen. We must move along the path of forming a society without violence,” Posted Archuckyan, reports Sputnik Armenia.
The minister hopes that “what happened will serve as a lesson for our society, we will slightly love and respect the right of everyone to the inviolability of personal, family life.”
Earlier, Armenian media reported that Ashop Arshakian attacked Journalist Pakhradyan in one of the cafes of Yerevan. The journalist approached the minister and asked why he spends his working hours in the cafe. Arshakian first replied that he was working at night, then asked the journalist to turn off the camera, after which he began to threaten. The journalist rose to the second floor of a cafe and began working on a laptop. Ashop Archuckyan approached the journalist, hit him in the face, then broke the laptop.
