The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has issued an application for the next provocation of Armenia on the border with Azerbaijan.
According to the report, on the evening of May 9, units of the Armed Forces of Armenia from the standpoint located in the direction of the village of Azizli of the Basarkecharsky district, fired at the positions of the Azerbaijani army, located in the village of ASHAGi Ayrym Kelbajarsky district.
Units of the Azerbaijani army took adequate response measures. It is noted that there are no losses in personnel and equipment in the Azerbaijani army.
The operational situation is currently under the control of the units of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, the situation in the indicated direction is stable, the ministry said.
