Armenian Deputy Prime Minister: “Azerbaijan has mutual understanding with Armenia by rail”

Baku and Yerevan have mutual understanding of the railway, said Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mger Grigoryan, speaking of unlocking regional transport communications.

“in terms of the railway there is a positive,” said Grigoryan, noting that expert work is being carried out, the results of which he will report later.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, at this stage the trilateral group conducts specific work with specific goals – this is the construction of the railway in those sites that are located in Armenia.

On December 16, the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan confirmed that at meetings with the President of Azerbaijan in Sochi and Brussels, an agreement was reached and confirmed agreement on the construction of this railway. In this regard, the Armenian Prime Minister instructed to start the preparatory work for the construction of the road in Armenian sites.
