Armenian eco-terror continues: mass death of fish in Okhchuchay river

During the next monitoring carried out for the purpose of environmental assessment of the lands liberated from occupation on the Okhchuchay river flowing through the territory of the Zangilan region, more than 500 trout and other fish were killed.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan, in the samples of the river seized in the river, a multiple excess of the norm of copper, molybdenum, manganese, iron, zinc, chromium and other similar heavy metals was found.

The results of monitoring and analysis, as well as the facts of mass death of fish in the river, once again proved the pollution of the river with toxic waste from the Kajaran copper-molybdenum plant and the Kafan copper ore refinery operating in Armenia.
