Armenian President Armen Sargsyan signed a decree on the appointment of early parliamentary elections on June 20. This was reported by the press service of the presidential apparatus.
“Taking as a basis of the requirement of articles 92 and 93 of the Constitution and the dissolution of the Parliament, President Sargsyan signed a decree on extraordinary elections to the National Assembly on June 20, 2021. The decree comes into force on the day after its official publication,” the document says.
