The oppositional “Movement to Save the Motherland” will present a further strategy of the struggle tomorrow, after the term of office of the head of the Armenian General Staff, Onik Gasparyan, expires. Ishkhan Saghatelyan, coordinator of the movement to save the Motherland, said this in an interview with reporters.
According to him, the President of the country Armen Sargsyan bears full responsibility for the situation in the country, and one of the ways out of it is to comply with the norms of the Constitution and appeal to the Constitutional Court, Armenian media report
Saghatelyan noted that the opposition agenda remains the same – this is the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The oppositionist claims that they are ready to meet at any time with Pashinyan in order to discuss a roadmap for his departure. At the same time, he considers the calls of the Armenian prime minister for early elections to be a bluff.
