The State Border Guard Service of Azerbaijan reported on the Armenian provocation in the Azerbaijani-Armenian border.
According to the GPS report, on April 23, at about 18:00 at the site of the Azerbaijan-Armenian state border, held through the territory of the Zanginsky district, an attempt to cross the state border of Azerbaijan was made by a provocative-divergent group of Armed Forces of Armenia. As a result of the measures taken, the penetration of the sabotage group into the territory of Azerbaijan was prevented and the saboteurs were forced to retreat.
The State Border Guard Service of Azerbaijan regards this incident as a provocation of the Armenian side, aimed at creating commissions for delimitation between Azerbaijan and Armenia and the relevant work. The provocations of the Armenian side were informed by representatives of the Border Department of the Federal Border Guard Service of the Russian Federation in Armenia.
The State Border Service declares that in the event of a repetition of such provocations, more serious measures will be taken.
