Armenian Security Council Secretary of border with Azerbaijan since USSR

The secretary of the Armenian Security Council Armen Grigoryan and the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, a telephone conversation took place, during which the parties discussed the situation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

Armenian Radio Liberty writes that during the conversation, Armen Grigoryan stressed that the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan exists since the times of the Soviet Union.

Grigoryan added that in accordance with the agreement on the establishment of the Commonwealth of Independent States of 1991, the parties recognized this border, ratified the agreement in their parliaments and made it an integral part of the legislation of the two countries.
